Digital Axis delivered extensive VFX for 5 Seconds of Summer’s “NOT OK,” directed by Hannah Lux Davis and shot at London Alley. Key VFX elements include keying, rotoscoping, 3D animation of a tunnel with dynamic light trails, scene setup, rendering, beauty work for Luke Hemmings, and detailed compositing. The team also composited apples and balloons featuring band members’ faces, added sparkling star effects in eyes, and performed clean-up on people and rigging cables from the set. These effects unify to energize and stylize the video’s raw and powerful narrative.
